30 Days Into Sweepstakes Letter Writing: My Honest Experience So Far

30 Days Into Sweepstakes Letter Writing: My Honest Experience So Far

30 Days Into Sweepstakes Letter Writing: My Honest Experience So Far

A few months ago, if someone had told me I'd be sitting at my computer learning about sweepstakes letter writing, I probably would have laughed.

Yet here we are.

One of the things I've learned while building online is that there are opportunities out there that most people have never heard of. Sometimes they're worth exploring, and sometimes they're not. The only way to find out is to do the research and try them for yourself.

That's exactly what led me to sweepstakes letter writing.

I first learned about it through SWC and ISS, where members were discussing the process of submitting requests for free sweep coins through participating sweepstakes platforms. As someone who enjoys learning about different side income opportunities, I was curious enough to give it a try.

Before getting started, I spent time reading the rules and understanding how the process worked. One thing I quickly discovered is that not every state is treated the same. Some states are restricted, some are excluded entirely, and others are eligible to participate.

Living in Illinois, I fall into a state where participation is allowed, which meant I could test the process for myself.

To be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect.

Whenever I try something new, I go into it with cautious optimism. I don't assume it's going to be life-changing, but I also don't dismiss it before giving it a fair chance.

Over the past 30 days, I've focused primarily on electronic submissions where available. The process itself wasn't particularly difficult once I understood the requirements. Like anything else, there was a learning curve at first, but after completing a few submissions, it became much easier to follow.

One thing I appreciate is that the process requires patience.

In a world where everyone wants instant results, this is definitely not one of those opportunities where you click a button and immediately see something happen. There are waiting periods, processing times, and moments where you simply have to trust the process and let things play out.

I've already seen some positive results from my electronic submissions, which have encouraged me to continue learning more about the process.

That being said, I think it's important to approach opportunities like this with realistic expectations.

Not every submission will be processed at the same speed.

Not every platform operates exactly the same way.

And not every person's experience will be identical.

For me, this has been less about chasing quick results and more about exploring a legitimate opportunity, learning how it works, and documenting the experience along the way.

One thing I've enjoyed most is simply learning something new.

I think that's one of the benefits of being open-minded while building online. Sometimes you discover tools, strategies, or opportunities that you never would have found if you stayed inside your comfort zone.

As I continue testing this process, my next step will be to submit letters via traditional postal mail.

I've heard a lot of different opinions about mail-in submissions, so naturally, I'm curious to see how my experience compares.

Will it take longer?

Will the process be easier or more complicated?

Will the results be different?

Honestly, I don't know yet.

But I'm willing to find out.

And when I do, I'll be sharing my experience in a future blog post.

As always, I'll continue sharing my honest experiences, what works for me, what doesn't, and what I learn along the way.

Before I wrap up, I want to mention that this is really just Part 1 of my sweepstakes letter-writing journey.

So far, I've focused primarily on electronic submissions where available. While I've had some encouraging results, I'm still curious about another side of the process that many people talk about: submitting letters through traditional postal mail.

In Part 2, I'll document my experience with handwritten and mail-in submissions, including how long the process takes, what materials are required, whether it's more time-consuming than electronic submissions, and whether the results differ.

Honestly, I'm just as curious as you are to see what happens.

One thing I've learned while building online is that sometimes the best way to understand an opportunity is to test it yourself and document the experience along the way.

I'll be sharing the wins, the frustrations, the waiting periods, and everything in between.
