My First Sweepstakes Letters Are Officially in the Mail

A few weeks ago, I wrote about my first 30 days experimenting with sweepstakes letter writing and electronic submissions.

At the time, I mentioned that my next step would be testing traditional mail-in requests.

Well...

The letters are officially in the mail.

Last Friday, I dropped off my first batch of sweepstakes request letters, and now comes what may be the hardest part of the entire process.

Waiting.

If you've followed any of my online income experiments, you probably know I'm naturally curious. I enjoy testing things for myself and documenting the experience instead of relying solely on what other people say online.

That's exactly how I approached sweepstakes letter writing.

Rather than assuming it worked or assuming it didn't, I wanted to see the process firsthand.

So after spending time learning about the requirements and preparing my materials, I finally mailed my first batch of requests.

One platform I included in this round of submissions was Modo Casino.

The Modo process was a little different than some of the other opportunities I've explored because each request requires its own request code.

That means before preparing a card, I needed to generate and record a unique code for that specific submission.

It's an extra step, but once I understood the process, it became part of the routine.

Based on Modo's current rules and terms, each approved request should result in approximately $3 in promotional sweepstakes credits being added to the account.

Of course, approval is never guaranteed, and processing times can vary, which is why I approach all of these experiments with realistic expectations.

For me, this journey is less about making assumptions and more about learning how the process actually works.

That's one reason I've enjoyed documenting it publicly.

There are plenty of opinions online.

There are far fewer people showing the process from beginning to end.

Right now, my role is simple.

I've submitted the requests.

I've followed the instructions.

And now I wait.

I'm curious to see how long processing takes.

I'm curious to see which requests are credited first.

And honestly, I'm curious to see how different the mail-in experience feels compared to electronic submissions.

One thing I've learned while building online is that many opportunities require patience.

We live in a world where we're used to instant results.

Instant downloads.

Instant notifications.

Instant answers.

Mail-in requests are definitely not instant.

There is preparation involved.

There is mailing time involved.

And there is processing time involved.

Whether that trade-off feels worthwhile is something I'm still evaluating.

That's why I think documenting these experiences is important.

Not because I have all the answers.

But because someone else might be wondering the same things I was wondering a few weeks ago.

As I continue this experiment, I'll be tracking updates, timelines, approvals, and any lessons I learn along the way.

Once I start receiving credits or responses, I'll publish another update sharing exactly what happened.

For now, the letters are in the mail.

And the waiting game has officially begun.
